| Mission: | Provide quality music instruction to children from low income families in order to enhance their lives through participation in the music community. |
| What it does: | The school provides an opportunity for children from low-income families, ages 6-18, to receive individualized instruction and guidance from area professionals and instructors in most orchestral instruments in addition to piano and guitar. Each half-hour lesson costs the student only one dollar. Also provides and repairs instruments for the students to use free of charge. The school has increased its enrollment to a total of 185 students. |
