Mission Empowers people with various disabilities to succeed in the world, integrate drums and percussion instruments as creative learning tools that address life skills and enhance the mind, body & spirit.

What it does Educational program for people with disabilities employing drums and percussion. Teaches and enhances basic life skills: maintaining focus, using memory, taking turns, developing leadership, using numbers, using prepositional concepts, following instructions, and modeling. Also addresses spatial awareness, fine and gross motor skills, and speech. Participants develop improved confidence and a more positive self-image. Also works with people in various therapeutic and health care situations including stroke, traumatic brain injury, mental illness, Alzheimer┬╣s disease and other dementias.
