Muriel Anderson's Website

It is with deep regret that we acknowledge the passing of Anne Jones, of the Jones Family Music School.

A mainstay in her community, Anne was a founder of the school in Lombard, Illinois that for over four decades with husband Tom and daughter Cathy, welcomed all to share in the joy of teaching and enabling the making of music together.

Anne was Muriel's guitar teacher and was instrumental in her artistic development at a very young age. Muriel and the Jones family remained in touch over the years. The Jones family was honored in 2009 at Muriel's annual Downers Grove, Saturday-After-Thanksgiving concert by her charitable organization, The Music for Life Alliance.

Donations in Anne's name to the Music for Life Alliance will be graciously accepted
